WHY WE CHOOSE BEESWAX

Though beeswax is not the easiest wax to master, we chose it- for it best embodies our essence .

KEY PROPERTIES & BENEFITS OF BEESWAX

 1. CLEAN BURNING

 • Melting point around 62–65°C, burns steadily without producing excess soot.

 • Primary byproducts are carbon dioxide and water vapor, releasing trace negative ions that can help purify the air.

 • Free from petroleum derivatives, it does not emit harmful VOCs such as toluene or benzene.

 2. NATURAL AROMA

 • Retains traces of pollen and propolis from its floral sources, carrying a gentle honey-like and floral scent.

 • Aroma varies naturally with the season and region of harvest, making each batch unique.

 3. DURABILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY

 • Highly resistant to spoilage; beeswax artifacts from ancient Egypt remain intact after thousands of years.

 • Maintains its form and texture over time, with excellent resistance to light and heat aging.

 4. HEALTH AND SAFTY

 • Naturally occurring with no synthetic residues, gentle on skin and respiratory systems.

 • Food-safe and often used as a natural coating for fruits and chocolates.

 5. ENVIROMENTALLY FRIENDLY

 • Renewable and biodegradable, with minimal environmental impact.

 • When sourced from responsible beekeeping, harvesting beeswax does not permanently harm bee colonies and supports ecological balance.

NATURE'S IMPRINT

beeswax breathes

  • CRYSTALLINE CONTRACTION - as beeswax cools, its molecular structure slowly contracts. Air and oil are pressed out, forming delicate traces on the surface. These outward signs are like gentle breaths.
  • UNEVEN HEAT TRANSFER- beeswax conducts heat unevenly, the outer layer solidifies first while the inside remains fluid. As the inner warmth escapes, small abouts of air and wax gradually emerge, like a subtle exhale.
  • DIVERSE NATURAL COMPOSITION- Beeswax is not a single substance. It contains fatty acids, esters, resins, and propolis. As each component contracts at a different pace during cooling, tiny ripples and micro-texture appears.
  • CANDLES'S BEATUY MARK - at times, a dark speck may be seen on the candles surface. This is natural sediment from beeswax- traces of pollen or propolis. Like a beauty mark, it is harmless, sealing within it the memory of its origin.
